The Western Wall is a sacred site for Jews from all over the world who visit it every holiday. It is the only remnant of the Temple. Many Jews hope and pray that the third temple will descend from heaven and be erected on the same spot where the temple built by King Solomon stood. However, Jews are forbidden to enter this area, which is regarded as holy place.
